La Villetta is the perfect place to spend a night out with your family or a special love one. Private party rooms are available for small intermediate dinners/lunches from 20-100 guests. If you’re not in the mood for a full course dinner, come in and sit at the bar and enjoy some cocktail drinks. We at La Villetta will be willing to work with our customers to obtain the best quality of service, while maintaining a positive atmosphere.

   CoOwners Leo Ulaj and Tom Dushaj were brought together through generations and generations of family friends. Leo and Tom have over 40 years of experience in the Italian cuisine and the restaurant business. 

    Leo Ulaj started his career by completing Hospitality and Culinary school in Montenegro. Once he arrived in the United States in 1985, he began working as a bus boy in busy restaurants in Manhattan. After many years of working in many different areas around New York and dealing with variety of people, he opened up his first restaurant in Larchmount called La Villetta in 1996.In 2002 opened up Benvenuto in Lynbrook after years later sold both restaurants and began working in Per Un Angelo in Wantagh and later on moved to Villa De Aqua in Belmore, where Tom and Leo reunited and the partnership began.

    CoOwner Tom Dushaj arrived alone to the United States at the age of 16 in 1970, started his working career as a dishwasher and eventually became a pizza man. Tom didn’t stop there, as years went on, he was a fast learner and a dedicated hard worker and became major D of fine Italian restaurants. Tom alone has over 30 years of experience of holding the position of Major D. Tom Dushaj has worked in Primavera in Flushing and Cafe Picasso in Wiolionston park to name a few.
